Feeding Difficulties

Our Paediatric Consultants are very experienced in managing feeding difficulties, a very common problem in children, especially during transition times like the passage from liquid to solid meals.

Your child will be fully assessed, and, once our Consultant Paediatrician has determined the cause behind the problem, a strategy to support healthy eating habits will be planned.

What is it?

Feeding difficulties involve problems such as poor weight gain, refusing food, difficulty swallowing, slow eating or vomiting after meals. These issues may be due to medical, developmental, or behavioural causes and can impact a child’s growth and nutrition.
