Travel vaccinations are immunisations recommended or required when travelling to specific regions where diseases like Yellow Fever, Typhoid, or Hepatitis A are common. Dr Williams will assess your travel plans and medical history to recommend the appropriate vaccines to keep you safe.
During a Travel Vaccination appointment, Dr Williams reviews your travel itinerary, assesses your vaccination history, and administers the necessary vaccines. He will also provide advice on additional precautions to take while travelling, such as Malaria prevention.
The consultation includes a detailed review of your general health / travel plans, an assessment of your vaccination history, and administration of any required or recommended vaccines, such as those for Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hepatitis, or Tetanus. Dr Williams will also provide information on any additional precautions to take during your travels.
During the consultation, expect a thorough discussion about your travel destinations (if the vaccinations is travel related), any specific health concerns, and your vaccination history. Dr Williams will provide personalised recommendations for vaccines and administer them on-site. He will also advise on preventive measures to take while abroad.
After the consultation, Dr Williams will provide you with a vaccination certificate if required, along with detailed aftercare instructions. You will receive advice on managing any side effects and additional tips on staying healthy during your trip. Follow-up appointments may be arranged if further vaccinations or boosters are needed.
Prices is £125. Price does not include the cost of the vaccination.
Vaccines such as Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hepatitis A, and Rabies may be recommended depending on your destination.
It’s recommended to get vaccinated at least 4 to 6 weeks before your trip to ensure full immunity.
Some Countries require specific vaccines, like Yellow Fever, for entry. Dr Williams will inform you of any mandatory vaccinations based on your itinerary.
Side effects are generally mild and may include soreness at the injection site or a low-grade fever. Serious reactions are rare.
