Initial Consultation
An Initial Paediatric Consultation at The Clinica offers a comprehensive health evaluation for your child, addressing a range of concerns such as frequent infections, breathing problems, asthma, chronic constipation, diarrhoea, gastro-oesophageal reflux and recurrent abdominal pain.
What is it?
During an initial Paediatric consultation, we provide a comprehensive review of your child's medical history and development. The Consultant Paediatrician will conduct a physical exam, discuss any concerns, evaluate growth and milestones, and provide guidance on nutrition, vaccinations, and preventive care. The consultation assesses your child's overall health, focusing on concerns such as breathing problems, chronic cough, digestive issues like vomiting, diarrhoea, recurrent abdominal pain, feeding difficulties and food allergies.
Our Consultant Paediatricians are also happy to perform Well Baby Checks and assist with feeding problems, colic, cow’s milk protein intolerance, food allergies and excessive crying.
In addition to these essential health screenings, at The Clinica we are proud to offer immunisations and blood tests. If required, we also offer home consultation.

The consultation can address a variety of concerns, and we invite our patients to talk about any concern they may have related to their child.
Health screenings include Well Baby Checks, growth assessments and development checks. If required, we will provide same day obligatory immunisations and paediatric blood tests, but these will be charged separately.
Yes, immunisations can be administered during the consultation if they are part of your child’s health plan, but will be charged separately.
