Brigitte Denis is a highly experienced Pediatric Nurse with a career spanning over three decades, known for her commitment to providing exceptional, family-centered care. After qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1992 and as a Pediatric Nurse in 1994, Brigitte has worked across various tertiary departments and clinical settings, gaining invaluable experience both in the UK and internationally.

Brigitte currently holds the role of Paediatric Epilepsy Clinical Nurse Specialist at Hillingdon Hospital, where she provides advisory and supportive services to patients and their families. She is responsible for educating children and parents on the treatment and management of epilepsy, as well as ensuring comprehensive follow-up care and structured pathways for her patients.

Brigitte’s extensive experience also includes her time as a Senior Pediatric Nurse at the Wellington Private Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre, where she worked in multiple pediatric clinics such as ENT, Gastroenterology, General Paediatrics, and Allergy. Prior to this, she spent over 20 years at Hammersmith Hospital in the Children’s Ambulatory Unit, where she led clinics, performed advanced clinical assessments, and played a key role in managing outpatient services.

Earlier in her career, Brigitte served as a Senior Nurse in the Ministry of Health, Seychelles, and was recognised for her excellence in surgical nursing, earning a sponsorship from the Swedish government for a pediatric placement at Umea University, Sweden.

Brigitte is passionate about continuing professional development and holds advanced qualifications in clinical assessment, leadership, and pediatric phlebotomy and cannulation. She is also a dedicated mentor, guiding the next generation of nurses in their clinical education and career progression.
