Dr. Sophie Rosseneu

Dr. Sophie Rosseneu is a truly dedicated and knowledgeable Consultant Paediatrician with over 15 years of experience in her field.

Dr. Rosseneu graduated Summa Cum Laude form from the Medical School of the Free University of Brussels in 1994, then successfully completed her Neonatology and Paediatrics training at the University UZ Hospital in Brussels and the Emma Children’s hospital in Amsterdam.

Driven by her passion for Gastroenterology, Dr. Rosseneu then spent time as a research fellow at the Paediatric Gastroenterology Unit of the Royal Free Hospital in London followed by another 2 years at the Royal London Hospital and Birmingham children’s Hospital where she worked at the Paediatric Gastroenterology and Liver Unit.

Dr. Rosseneu consults patients from infancy until they become young adults, and she regularly treats acute childhood infections, feeding issues in babies and toddlers, abdominal problems including gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and constipation, eczema etc. Parents bring to Dr. Rosseneu their new born babies for check ups and close monitoring of growth, feeding issues and gastrointestinal related problems and vaccinations, and over the years Dr Rosseneu has developed a large and loyal group of patients that trust her vast knowledge and appreciate her approachable nature.

Dr. Rosseneu is very well known amongst colleagues and patients as a specialist who will leave no stone unturned to find the diagnosis and develop a tailored treatment plan.

Dr. Rosseneu’s warm and calm approach makes children feel at ease at all times and patients’ parents are very reassured to see how easy it is for Dr. Rosseneu to build excellent relationships with her paediatric patients and their families.

Dr. Rosseneu works privately as a Consultant Paediatrician both at The Cromwell Hospital in London and at The Clinica in Ascot.

In her free time Dr. Rosseneu enjoys playing paddle, tennis and golf.
